Painting for me is full of the energy that flows through nature - alive and vibrant. Most of my paintings are done on site ... unrolling canvas or paper on the ground ... rocks on the corners ... working quickly in acrylic ... not to capture the image ... but to translate my vision of it ... and the passion I felt the moment I first saw it.

Some of my paintings are abstractions .... coming from deep within ... wet, layered and flowing - pouring forth in a burst of energy. Each time I look at them I find something new to ground my thoughts.
